Georgia Hosts the SAGE World Cup 2025!

From September 12 to 14, 2025, Georgia proudly hosted and participated in the SAGE World Cup 2025 — one of the world’s largest youth entrepreneurship competitions, uniting young innovators from 30 countries.

For the first time, Georgia became both a host country and an active participant in this global event, held in the heart of Tbilisi. The opening ceremony took place at the Georgian National University (SEU), while the closing ceremony was hosted by the Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).

SAGE Georgia  is a national platform and part of the international network Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE). Its mission is to empower young people through socially responsible entrepreneurship and innovative thinking. The program encourages youth to develop sustainable business projects that create real social impact and foster creativity, leadership, and community engagement.

SAGE brings together young innovators, entrepreneurs, and startup teams aged 14–19, offering them a unique opportunity to design and present projects that combine business innovation with social responsibility.

Georgia’s participation in the World Cup was preceded by a national competition held across five regions — Poti, Kutaisi, Tbilisi, Telavi, and Batumi — in the spring of 2025. The national final took place on June 15 in Tbilisi, where participants presented their entrepreneurial and social innovation projects.

Two winning teams — Micro2Macro and AthleTrack — represented Georgia at the SAGE World Cup 2025 global finals.

  • Micro2Macro – EduBridge: a platform that promotes equal opportunities for students to engage in youth activities and accelerate personal development.

  • AthleTrack: an AI-powered smart platform that creates personalized workout and nutrition plans based on users’ physical data and monitors their health in real time.

The Georgian team Micro2Macro received the SDG 4 Gold Medal Award – Quality Education, recognizing its outstanding contribution to education and youth development. In addition, Georgia as a host country was honored with the “Stand Together” Award, celebrating the nation’s unity, kindness, hospitality, and culture of mutual respect.

Georgia’s team also achieved remarkable success, placing among the top six teams globally.

🏆 SAGE World Cup 2025 Global Winners:
