How It Works

SAGE School is a 4-month hybrid program consisting of 24 interactive meetings designed to guide students from idea generation to impactful implementation. The program is structured around four core modules, combining hands-on workshops, mentorship, and practical application.

💡 Module 1: Idea Validation & Ideation

Students explore challenges in their communities and identify opportunities for innovative solutions.
Techniques for market research, validation, and brainstorming are introduced to refine ideas.
Teams work on transforming initial concepts into actionable project ideas.

Learning Outcomes:

A clearly defined problem statement addressing a real community or social challenge.
A validated idea summary, based on basic market and stakeholder research.
A value proposition canvas or problem–solution fit outline.
A team project concept brief describing the initial vision, goals, and potential impact.

💼 Module 2: Business Model & Finances

Students learn the essentials of creating a sustainable business model.
Practical lessons cover budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning for implementing solutions.
Teams develop clear strategies to ensure the viability and scalability of their projects.

Learning Outcomes:

A Business Model Canvas or Lean Canvas tailored to the project idea.
A basic financial plan, including cost structure, revenue streams, and funding needs.
A budget and sustainability plan showing how the solution can operate long-term.
A short financial summary presentation to communicate viability.

🌍 Module 3: SDG Goals & Social Entrepreneurship

Focus on Social Impact and aligning solutions with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Students understand the principles of social entrepreneurship, ensuring their projects create meaningful community impact.
Activities encourage thinking about long-term social change and responsible innovation.

Learning Outcomes:

A clear mapping of the project’s alignment with relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A social impact statement defining how the project benefits the community.
A stakeholder impact map identifying who benefits and how.
A responsible innovation checklist ensuring ethical and sustainable design.

🎤 Module 4: Teamwork, Presentation Skills & Pitch Deck

Emphasis on team collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.
Students prepare professional pitch decks and practice presenting their ideas effectively.
It culminates in a final pitch session presented to the school jury, mentors, and community stakeholders, providing valuable feedback and opportunities for further support and recognition.

Learning Outcomes:

A complete and visually polished pitch deck ready for presentation.
A team presentation video or live pitch, practiced and refined with mentor feedback.
A project portfolio summary, including all key materials from previous modules.
Certificate of program completion and eligibility to participate in the SAGE Georgia National Competition upon successful completion of the course.

Who Can Apply?

Eligibility: Open to high school and university students aged 14–19 from across Georgia. Whether you’re just beginning to explore entrepreneurship or already leading small initiatives, this program is designed to help you grow.

Ideal Participants: Students who are passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, sustainability, or social impact.

No Prior Experience Needed: You don’t need a business background to apply—only curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn and take action.

Diverse & Inclusive Community: We encourage applications from students of all regions, backgrounds, and interests. What matters most is your drive to create positive change.

Team or Individual Participation: You can apply individually or as part of a team. Teams are formed and guided by mentors throughout the program.
